He took the time to explain things properly and made sure we felt confident in every step, which really put our minds at ease.
Karen was also amazing throughout the whole process – she checked in with us regularly, often every week, and towards the end when things got a bit more intense she was in touch even more. That made such a difference because we always felt supported and never left wondering what was going on.

We had our property on the market for 6 months with Connells so lost count how many viewings but no offers. I reached out and spoke to Karen who I knew from years ago, Adam came round to value and immediately gave us feedback to fix the place up a bit - just give the front door a lick of paint, declutter a bit etc and we got an offer from the first viewing. We were happy for the constructive feedback! It meant be sold the place!

Couldn’t have asked for better estate agent. I placed my house for sale in April and Jowett and stone were extremely reliable and consistent with any updates or answers to any questions I had. Considering the process of selling a house is extremely stressful and overwhelming, Jowett and Stone never left me questioning what the next step was or worrying if the house would sell. We started our home sale journey early in 2024 and finally moved in March 2025.
Throughout this prolonged and frustrating process, Karen and the team were absolutely exceptional. From Adam’s initial valuation and sound sales advice to our final completion date, Jowett and Stone did an outstanding job. We were kept fully informed of any issues surrounding our sale and Karen always went to great lengths to ensure that they had as complete a picture of the chain as possible. We believe this is a level of service that other agents do not always offer. Navigating the end of the sale process would have been even more stressful without Karen driving the setting of exchange and completion dates, chasing up solicitors and persistently going way above and beyond expectations. Whilst moving home is a stressful process, it would have been far more so without Karen’s calm and supportive approach , always well informed and reassuring. They were brilliant from start to finish, and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone needing an estate agent. We had several local estate agents value our house but from the first meeting with Adam, who came armed with plenty of experience and sales data, we knew that Jowett & Stone were right for us and that we would be in good hands.
